Our Blog is Going The Way of the Dodo Bird {temporarily}

Greetings, chums! We have a bit of an announcement to make…

…Clara and I are moving to Middle Earth. So, unfortunately, no more blogging because you can’t exactly get the best wi-fi down in the Shire. It’s a travesty, I know.

(Um, just kidding.) Actually, we’re moving to the Land Of Too Much Homework, a dark and evil place where no fair bookish soul should ever be forced to tread. If that wasn’t enough, I (Hermione) have to work on a giant Senior Project that is a.) quite time-consuming, b.) has to be completed before I graduate and c.) did I mention how time-consuming it is???

Maybe you’re thinking, LADY YOU HAVE LIKE NINE MONTHS TO WORK ON THIS THING, WHAT’S THE PROBLEM?

Shhh, peasant. It’s not that simple.

For my Senior Project, I am going to actually write (!!!) the novel that I’ve been mentally playing around with for the last two years. So, yes, when I say it’s a lot of work, it’s a lot of FUN work. And yet…I am not a fast writer, or a fast planner. I am not one of those bloggers who can whip out ten novels a year (WHAT ARE YOUR SECRETS????). I will undoubtedly need every second of the next nine months to get this sucker wrapped up on time. (Added to that I have to worry about college apps and my Senior Project paper and ugh life. Sorry, I think I’m just complaining? But to the other seniors out there–I’m sure you will commiserate with me. Hopefully).

WHAT ABOUT POOR CLARA? you cry. Well, Poor Clara’s blogging dreams have been sacrificed to my ISTJ need to work only ONE PROJECT AT A TIME. Working on multiple projects simultaneously=me getting overwhelmed and hiding under the covers eating chocolate. And Clara is also very busy with her life. She’s like the Queen of the Ravenclaws, which isn’t exactly an easy job (read: she too is drowning in homework).

ANYWAY. The long and the short of it is that we’re temporarily going on a hiatus. Hopefully we’ll be back in mid-October with some new posts. We have quite a few posts that are like 80% done, so if we have any free time we’ll get those wrapped up so we can start blogging post-hiatus right away. And maybe Clara will put up a solo-review or two during September??? (Maybe. If we’re lucky and shooting stars all fall down to the earth and become magical dragons.)

So here’s to a great September–! We’ll be quite absent from the blogosphere, but I’ll try to keep up on reading everyone’s posts (as for commenting on other people’s posts….not my strong suit…).
